TOM HARDY (pictured) is Max, a man of few words, in George Miller’s exhilarating update of his own cult movies, though it’s Charlize Theron’s Furiosa who is very much in the driving seat. It’s a nonstop ride through a bleak, dystopian landscape, where water, fuel and fertility are the highest prizes.
