Cameron: I would back Boris the ‘greased piglet’

-

DAVID Cameron hinted his nickname for Boris Johnson was ‘greased piglet’ as he backed the deal.

The former prime minister, who was behind the

016 referendum, said he had been asked if the deal would be voted through Parliament. He had replied: ‘ The thing about the greased piglet is that he manages to slip through other people’s hands where mere mortals fail.’ Mr Cameron, who was speaking at the Harrogate Literature Festival, added that leaving with a deal was ‘the best way’.

The ex-MP was notoriously accused of putting a ‘private part of his anatomy’ into a dead pig’s mouth during an Oxford University initiation.
