THEY surprised fans back in 2017 when they announced that they were splitting after 25 years together.

But two years after calling time on their relationship, former Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley may have rekindled his romance with his ex-partner Keren Woodward.

The I’m Your Man singer, 56, and the Bananarama star, 58, looked close as they made their way through London hand-inhand on Saturday. At one point, the pair, who have split and made up a couple of times since they started dating in 1990, stopped walking to hug, before Ridgeley planted a kiss on the side of her head.

Miss Woodward is thought to have relocated to London from their Cornwall home in August 2017, with Ridgeley confirming the split three months later.

‘As close friends, with different lives, we see each other as circumstances allow and retain a great affection for one another,’ he told the Mirror. Miss Woodward said: ‘Yes, we’ve gone our separate ways. These things happen unfortunately, but we still speak.’ The couple also temporarily split back in 2015 but soon rekindled the relationship. ‘We split up but we are through those difficulties now and it is all ancient history,’ Ridgeley said then.

Ridgeley and Miss Woodward first got together a few years after Wham! split, with Ridgeley opting for the quiet life in Wadebridge, north Cornwall, while his partner toured with Bananarama. ‘He enjoys the anonymity that he has, but also he has a complete understanding of me and why I am still doing it [performing],’ Miss Woodward told the Mail in 2009.

They lived in Cornwall with Miss Woodward’s son from a previous relationship with model David-Scott Evans until Miss Woodward returned to London in 2017.

Ridgeley has returned to the spotlight this year thanks to his involvement in Dame Emma Thompson’s festive film Last Christmas, based on the music of Wham! and George Michael. Representatives for Miss Woodward and Ridgeley have been contacted for comment.
