David’s obsession with Lego model Christmas present is driving Posh round the bend
DAVID Beckham’s Lego hobby has driven his wife Victoria to distraction in the past. And it seems things didn’t improve this Christmas as he turned his attention to a new brick creation.
The former Spice Girl, 45, filmed her 44-year-old husband as he attempted to build a model of a Land Rover Defender with the help of son Cruz, 14, and daughter Harper, eight.
Clearly unimpressed with the length of time his hobby was taking, she captioned the Instagram post: ‘For f**** sake, how much longer?!??’
Mrs Beckham poked fun at the former footballer as she grilled him on how much longer he would spend on it after nine hours attempting to complete the £160 model vehicle. ‘It does say on the box that it’s for an 11year-old,’ she said. ‘But you are 44 – you know that?’ Getting his own back for being mocked, Beckham retorted: ‘Yep, and you’re 45.’
Beckham is a fan of Lego creations, and in September stayed up until am to construct a 6,000-piece Hogwarts School from Harry Potter.
Despite his obsession, Mrs Beckham managed to prise her husband away for a mini break with her former Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton and her partner Jade Jones, sharing a picture of them cuddled up on a sofa and the caption: ‘The most perfect few days.’
