I’m so glad Camilla proved me wrong

-

AS A fan of Diana, Princess of Wales, I was horrified when she and Prince Charles separated, airing their differences in such a public way. When Camilla appeared on the scene as the Prince’s consort, and later his wife, I felt an antagonism towards her that I thought would last for ever. However, over the years she has comported herself perfectly and will, I think, make an excellent Queen when the time comes. She has never put a foot wrong, as a result of which I feel a newfound loyalty towards Prince Charles, our future king, and Camilla as his Queen.

JANE CROMPTON, Bidford-on-Avon, Warks. It’S been reported that Harry and Meghan are going to start a global empire after they trademarked the Sussex Royal brand for 100 products from t-shirts to newspapers (Mail). When they do return from their six-week break, the best thing they can do is forget this ridiculous idea. they should

buckle down to supporting the Queen, take on more royal duties, stop whingeing about their pampered life, stop being so secretive and let the public see more of Archie.

P. PALOMBO, Amersham, Bucks. I’M tHRILLeD that Harry and Meghan have found a secure hideaway in which to have a family holiday. I’m not so thrilled that we have to pay for a team of royal protection officers to provide security. Harry is only sixth in line of succession, so should pay for his own security team.

M. SOUTHON, Ferndown, Dorset. JUSt when we thought we had heard the last of Pippa, she bounced back imitating a stick insect in pictures on the beach. Apart from kate, can’t the Middletons stay out of the limelight?

PETER F. BRYANT, Salisbury, Wilts.
