MOYES PLOTTING LOAN MOVE FOR ROMA’S NZONZI

WEST HAM have asked about a potential loan deal for Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi. However, the Italians want around £3.5million for a loan fee and the player is on a hefty salary. Nzonzi, 31, is on loan at Galatasara­y but is keen to move to London where he has family. Hammers boss David Moyes is open-minded on who he brings in, with Joe Allen of Stoke watched again on Monday. BURNLEY may use Bristol City’s interest in Nahki Wells as a lever in their bid to sign Josh Brownhill. Wells, 29, will be recalled from his loan at QPR amid interest from a number of clubs. He is out of contract in the summer though Burnley have a year’s option so will demand a fee of around £6m. Burnley like BRISTOL CITY midfielder Brownhill, who has a £7m clause in his contract which is active in the summer. Burnley have rejected loan offers from Fulham, Middlesbro­ugh and Huddersfie­ld for defender Ben Gibson.

INTER MILAN have held further discussion­s over a contract offer for Manchester United’s Tahith Chong (right). The winger, 20, is out of contract in the summer and is struggling to agree terms at Old Trafford. He is also wanted by Barcelona and Juventus. Inter propose a fiveyear deal. Inter will confirm the signing of Victor Moses from Chelsea today after he completed his medical.

AC MILAN have shown a surprise interest in NOTTINGHAM

FOREST’S Matty Cash, 22. He has converted to right back from midfield and attracted attention from Milan and West Ham. Forest asked HUDDERSFIE­LD for striker Steve Mounie a day after signing Adama Diakhaby from the Yorkshire club on loan and are discussing deals for Barcelona’s former Arsenal midfielder Marcus McGuane, 20, and striker Julian Larsson, 18, from AIK in Sweden. Forest defender Jack Robinson has completed his move to Sheffield United. Celtic have revived interest in Blades’ Billy Sharp.
