At AXA PPP healthcare, you can be safe in the knowledge that we will do everything we can to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible. Our health insurance is designed to give you access for the treatment of new medical conditions that arise after you join. When you join us you’ll have more control over when, where and who takes care of your health. You can choose to have your treatment in one of 250 hospitals from our Directory of Hospitals, so you could benefit from the comfort of your own private hotel style room, usually with en-suite facilities, a TV and a choice of meals, so you can relax knowing you’re being looked after. Depending on the hospital, you may even have flexible visiting hours, so your friends
and family can come to see you at a time that suits them.

Should you need someone to talk to if you’re feeling apprehensive about your health, we have a fabulous team of medical professionals at the end of a phone or via email to discuss your concerns. Our Health at Hand team are available 24/7 and 365 days of the year, so if you’re feeling nervous about an upcoming operation, have something that’s keeping you awake at night, or you have a question about your health, you can have peace of mind knowing that there is always someone here to support you. Other benefits of our Personal Health plan:
• You’re covered for full hospital fees including diagnostic tests, CT, MRI and PET scans and physiotherapy. So long as you’re an in-patient or day-patient, and using a facility from our Directory of Hospitals
• Flexible visiting hours, allowing your friends and family to visit you at a time that works for them
• Cash payment if you use a hospital or day-patient unit that is not in our Directory of Hospitals
• Cash payment up to £2,000 a year when you have free in-patient treatment under the NHS, so long as you’re admitted before midnight and we would have covered your treatment if you had had it privately
We have different options to suit your needs
With our Personal Health plan, you are able to tailor the plan to suit your individual needs. For example, our Therapies option provides you with out-patient treatment by a physiotherapist, acupuncturist, homeopath, osteopath or chiropractor that is recognised by us. There’s no yearly limit on fees and you’ll be able to have up to 10 sessions a year when your GP or Working Body therapist refers you. You might even been interested in our Dentist and Optician Cashback option, which is available for you to add to your Personal Health plan.
