DAVID SCHWIMMER is hilarious in Sky’s comedy about an arrogant, insecure, lecherous U.S. spy, who desperatel­y wants to fit in at Britain’s GCHQ. In the last two episodes, we finally learn why Jerry (Schwimmer, pictured) was sent to the UK, but never fear, it’s not the end — a second series has been ordered.

AS THE lavish German crime drama returns for a third series, it’s the great Berlin stock market crash of 1929. While bankers and investors are losing their heads, moody detective Gereon Rath (Volker Bruch) is investigat­ing the on-set death of German film actress Betty Winter.

CRIME SQUAD NCIS, 9pm, Fox

CHRISTMAS is coming in a new episode, and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is fast becoming a father figure to that boy over the road. That seems to be where he wants to spend his time, too, rather than with his team — but the NCIS supremo is dragged into the field again when Ziva returns in a story that has a big twist up its sleeve.

THE story of the making of Carly Simon’s classic album, which included the massive hit You’re So Vain, which was said to be about actor Warren Beatty. Simon herself looks back almost 50 years as she’s interviewe­d at her Martha’s Vineyard home — and even gives us a song or two.
