THE TOOLS Minky Anti-bacterial Cleaning Pad
I CAN’T do without my Minkehs. I use the white belly side on woodwork and doors etc, as it’s more of a scourer-type texture. I then use the green honeycomb side to wipe away any suds or remaining product to finish off the job.
Extra thick Moppets
PINKEH! As we know, sponges don’t have to be pink to be called Pinkeh. It’s a universal term for a moppet- type sponge. I use Pinkeh on all worktops, my dining table and leather armchairs. Teamed up with my diluted Zoflora spray, I’m in heaven!
Dishmatic
I HAVE about ten Derek Dishmatics. You can use them all around the home. I use them primarily for washing up. I also fill one with Flash Bathroom Liquid and use it to scrub away at my shower tray and bathroom tiles. Derek just gets the job done!
Minky Glass and Window cloth
KERMIT is a wonder. He’s a brilliant buffer on any shiny surface.
Rubber gloves
ALWAYS wear your Gregorys. I don’t wear them nearly enough, but they are important, particularly in times like these. I do really recommend them, especially when you’re dealing with harsh chemicals.
Spontex Microfibre Kitchen Cloths
AWWW, my Buddy (yellow) and Brian (blue). These come in packs of two for £3 and they’re the dream team. You can put them in the washing machine again and again and they’ll come up like new.
Scrub Daddy
I LOVE this little guy. He’s so clever and can be used for so many things. They’re made out of a material called FlexTexture so they go rigid in cold water, and they soften in warm water, and he can be used for so many different jobs around the home. I like to use my Scrub Daddy with the Pink Stuff to give the oven a clean, little and often.
Flash Powermop
I’VE been absolutely loving Freda ever since I started using her. She is battery operated and comes with a premixed solution that smells amazing and cleans really well. I also find the disposable heads really convenient and I love that they can be recycled through the TerraCycle scheme.
Pledge Fluffy Duster
DAVE!!! Who doesn’t love Dave! I’ll use him to dust off all of my surfaces before I Mr Sheen them. He works brilliantly and traps the dust really well instead of just moving it around.
THE PRODUCTS Cif Cream Original with Micro Crystals
I REALLY rate this for the hob and sink. I always use it with Minkeh because it makes it more effective and yes, I find it fun to use!
Cif Perfect Finish Stainless Steel Spray
OH, Cliff. Cliff! He’s such a gentleman. Cliff and Buddy are one hundred per cent best mates. I use this team on my sink every single day without fail! The shine is simply beautiful.
The Pink Stuff Elbow Grease
AKA Elvis. This stuff is incredible for everything. I’ve even used it on clothes stains before. I sprayed it directly on to the stain, popped it into the washing machine and it came out a treat.
Flash Multi Purpose with Bicarbonate of Soda
I CAN’T get enough of this stuff lately. As I’m sure you all know, Flash has their staple Multi Purpose cleaners on the go throughout the year, which are amazing and they all work really well. But seasonally they bring in limited edition ones, and I have been living for the bicarb edition. Not only does it smell incredible (I know, what is it with me and smells . . . I just love it), but it’s so effective as a cleaner, and I’ve noticed it leaves surfaces really shiny. And you know how I feel about a shiny surface!
