We need strong leaders

-

the silent majority in this country look on in horror and disbelief as they observe anarchists, vandals, racists and rabble-rousers take over, leaving swathes of destruction in their path.

they know the police are powerless to stop their jeering and bullying behaviour because the Government and authorities have lost the trust and respect of the people.

the Government issues so many u-turns that even those of us trying to do the right thing no longer know what that is. the police are so politically correct that the front line dare not use any force to restore law and order for fear of so- called police brutality.

rest assured, the mobile phone mob will get all the photos of engineered situations to sell to the newspapers, or videos for social media.

Meanwhile, the Church of england represented by the archbishop of Canterbury decided to join the handwringing Lefties and tell us that some centuries- old statues in churches need to come down.

I am sure if the archbishop cares to identify which ones they are, the mob will be only too willing to help him out. the Church would be more respected if it had stepped forward

and offered solace and help, both spiritual and practical, to the poor souls who have lost loved ones in some cases years before their time in this appalling pandemic.

No wonder the enemies of this country are laughing. They don’t need to worry about destroying and dismantling our democracy. We are letting it happen without raising any defence. Where, oh where, do we find leadership to get us out of this spiral of horror?
