All you have to do each week is solve a series of clues or riddles, the answers to which will be linked to that week’s theme. each of the four weekly Treasure Hunts begins with an artwork in Saturday’s Daily Mail. Hidden within the illustration are a number of letters that will give you your first answer.
Tillustration is opposite, depicting a bustling London scene, and the answer this first week is a London landmark. Crack today’s clue and write it in the box provided below.
The hunt will then take you around the country through a series of clues printed each Monday to Friday in the paper. This coming week, these will all be related to famous UK tourist attractions.
Solve the riddle each day and write the answer in the box provided in that day’s paper. Keep your answers and then, after you’ve solved the final clue next Friday, write all six answers in the grid provided in that day’s Daily Mail. The letters highlighted in the grid will form an anagram — unscramble it and you will have the final answer. This year, each week’s final answer is an iconic Briton. If you think you’ve worked out the solution on Friday, call the hotline, text or email (details of which will be in Friday’s paper) and leave your answer and personal details.
The lucky winner will be drawn at random, and if it’s you, we’ll call you between 9am and 11am on Saturday,
July 18. If you don’t win, the challenge begins again next weekend — and you never know what you might find at the end of the rainbow!
