I’M A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! could be forced to swap the Australian jungle for somewhere a little closer to home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ITV bosses are reportedly looking at alternative locations in Scotland and England to ensure filming of the 20th series, presented by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, pictured, goes ahead.

Australia has recently seen a surge in new cases of Covid-19 which has resulted in some areas of the country going into a second lockdown.

A source told The Mirror: ‘The team is looking at stately homes, castles, mansions in remote areas of Scotland and England to see if we could stage it here.’

When asked about I’m A Celeb back in April, Kevin Lygo, ITV’s director of television, said: ‘I don’t think we can talk about it now but we’re looking at alternatives.’
