SOUTHAMPTO­N will become the latest Premier League club with a gambling company on the front of their shirt after being forced to change their main sponsor on the eve of the season. They will now display Sportsbet.io’s logo, following concerns about previous sponsor LD Sports’ ability to fulfil the £7.5m-a-season, three-year deal that began last summer.

CHAIRMAN Khaldoon Al Mubarak has indicated that Manchester City will allow both Sergio Aguero and Pep Guardiola to decide their own futures at the Etihad Stadium. City’s record goalscorer and most successful manager are out of contract next summer.
