THESE days it can be difficult to get your head around everchanging travel restrictions, which is where CovidEntryCheck comes in. The website monitors more than 34,000 travel routes to give you the latest information on quarantines, active cases and new ones in destinations around the world. OPEN AGAIN

THE British Museum reopened on Thursday following its longest closure since World War II. A one way route around the ground floor allows visitors to explore the history of Egypt, Greece, Rome and others. An unseen version of Grayson Perry’s Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman is also on display. Go to britishmuseum.org.

AMSTERDAM DIRECT

EUROSTAR ( eurostar.com) is resuming direct services from London to Amsterdam on October 26. Tickets will be available to book on September 1 from £40 each way and are changeable with no fee up to 14 days before departures ( for bookings made until December 31). Trains take just over four hours to Amsterdam (pictured).

SLEEP WELL

IN RECENT years the travel pillow has become an indispensable holiday accessory. And now, when hygiene is more important than ever, the Snooze Pillow may prove useful. The pillow is machine washable (as is the cover). The product comes in a variety of sizes and is priced from £24.99 at snoozeworld. or pick one up at the airport.
