CELTIC WIN TREBLE TO EASE PRESSURE ON LENNON

NEIL LENNoN expressed his joy after he made Scottish footballin­g history by becoming the first man to win a domestic treble as both a player and manager. The midfield anchor in Martin o’Neill’s all-conquering side of 2000-01, Lennon survived a dramatic penalty shootout to claim a quadruple treble after Robbie Neilson’s battling Hearts repeatedly pegged back the champions in a stunning 3-3 draw. The final of the 2019-20 season — originally scheduled for May — saw Celtic complete the Treble after winning the Premiershi­p and League Cup.
