mY moST significant relationship lasted for just over seven years and we drifted apart. We separated, but remain good friends.

I don’T get nervous. I was just excited to find out more about my date. I’ve only been on one blind date before and it was hard to keep the relationship going.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS?
I WaS taken by surprise when I saw nick was dialling in from a beachside restaurant. It turns out he lives in the Canary Islands. While I was initially put off by this, I soon forgot as we started talking.
nick was wearing a white T-shirt and has an attractive physique, nice eyes and a good energy.
EASY TO TALK TO?
We TalKed a lot about self development. I enjoy listening to the former Buddhist monk Jay Shetty and nick is currently writing a book on the subject.
He revealed he was bullied at school because he was chubby, which explains why he looks after himself today. I liked that he was vulnerable and felt able to share it.
I was disappointed, however, that nick was already waiting to order a salad when the call started — I hadn’t yet ordered my takeaway as I was hoping we might decide on our meal together.

I aSKed nick if he was nervous and he said only a psychopath wouldn’t be. as I felt totally relaxed, I was amused by his response.
