IN A noirish new, ten-part drama with a touch of Twin Peaks, Rosario Dawson (pictured) stars as Allegra Dill, who returns to her Texas home town to investigat­e the death of her sister. San Bonifacio is full of corruption and secrets, not to mention animals — problems at the zoo mean that a tiger is loose on the streets.

FOR this grand one-off, Lucy Worsley explores how Queen Victoria used music to bind the country together. Worsley also focuses on the musical legacy left by the monarch and her husband, Prince Albert, through the establishm­ent of the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall.
