TOTTENHAM winger Jack Clarke is joining STOKE CITY on loan for the rest of the season. Clarke, 20, came on in Sunday’s FA Cup win at Marine but faces limited opportunities and, following a medical, will join Stoke, who also want to add Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis.

BARCELONA want to sign Eric Garcia from Manchester City this month but have still to free up the funds. The 20-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has agreed to return to Barca, whom he left for City in 2017. Short of defenders, Barca want him now yet may have to wait until their January 24 presidential election to pay any fee such are their cash concerns. Barcelona’s Neto, 31, is among the goalkeepers being considered by ARSENAL. VALENCIA, who have been rebuffed over Harry Winks from Tottenham, are showing interest in Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira, who is on loan at Atletico Madrid.

MEXICAN side Cruz Azul are the latest to express interest in MANCHESTER UNITED defender Marcos Rojo. The 30-year-old also has an offer from Boca Juniors.

NEWCASTLE defender Ciaran Clark, 31, has agreed a new contract with the club.
