Lady Gaga to pay shot dog walker’s £70k medical bill

- By Dominique Hines

LADY Gaga will cover the cost of medical bills for her dog walker who was shot in the chest, according to reports.

Ryan Fischer was targeted as he walked the singer’s two beloved French bulldogs, who were kidnapped during the attack in West Hollywood.

Sources told US website TMZ that the 34-year-old pop star will also ‘gladly’ follow through on her promise of a £360,000 reward after the dogs, Gustavo and Koji, were found and returned to her.

She has reportedly offered to pay Mr Fischer’s £70,000 medical bills. He remains in hospital but is expected to make a full recovery. A source told the Sunday Mirror: ‘Gaga feels horrendous and wants to make sure he is looked after.

‘She absolutely adores him and is forever indebted to him.’

Mr Fischer was seen on CCTV screaming and trying to protect the singer’s dogs from the armed thieves during the attack last Wednesday.

He managed to wrestle a third dog, Miss Asia, from the attackers, but was shot multiple times before they drove off.

Lady Gaga has yet to speak publicly about the incident but her father Joe Germanotta has called for the criminals to be charged with assault or attempted murder. Police are still searching for them.

On Friday the dogs were returned by an unidentified woman who found them tied to a pole in an alley. Police said she was ‘uninvolved and unassociated’ but had seen media coverage of the incident.
