IN 2020, the Nasa craft Osiris-Rex secured a sample of asteroid Bennu for its return to Earth. It was an incredible operation — the stuff of science fiction made science fact — and this new documentary explores what the sample could tell us about the formation of Earth.

DEMOLITION CREW Scrap Kings, 9pm, Quest
THERE is a nice mix of jollity and detail to this UK series about scrap and demolition. Tonight, an old 43m-high police HQ is due to be ‘blown down’ with 150 explosions in Wrexham, and the crew (including Robyn, pictured) have a short wander through its cells beforehand. In Dorset, we see how fantasy figures are crafted from scrap metal.
FREEVIEW MOVIE Aftermath, 9pm, Sony Movies
DOWNBEAT drama inspired by a real-life tragedy — the collision of two jets over Germany in 2002 — with events moved to America. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as a construction worker who loses his wife and daughter in the crash.
FUNNY ANECDOTES Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, 10pm, Dave
FOR the finale of this panel show about celebrities’ terrible tales, they have a legal expert in their midst — barrister Robert Rinder, who is able to advise Sophie Duker of the actual illegality in one of her stories. Listen out for David Baddiel’s very funny account of his friend Saul.
