Is this proof Peter’s found love with Zara’s school chum?
WHEN Peter Phillips spent the night at the home of a glamorous acquaintance in Scotland earlier this year, sources insisted the pair were just friends.
But questions about whether Princess Anne’s divorced son has found love again have re-emerged after he and Lindsay Wallace were seen together for the first time in public.
The oil tycoon’s daughter was pictured alongside Mr Phillips in his Range Rover as they travelled to Sunday’s royal christening in Windsor. They joined the Queen and other guests at the joint service for the children of Princess Eugenie and Mr Phillips’ sister Zara Tindall – a close friend of Miss Wallace since their school days at Gordonstoun.
He and Miss Wallace, 40, are understood to have grown close following the breakdown of their marriages last year.
The mother of two split from her husband of 11 years at around the time father-of-two Mr Phillips, 44, announced he and his wife Autumn were divorcing after 12 years.
Speculation about their relationship began in March, when his car was spotted outside her Aberdeenshire home, sparking concerns he had breached Covid rules by travelling from his Gloucestershire home. Sources insisted Mr Phillips had stayed over only as he could not find a hotel while in Scotland for work with his coronavirus testing firm.
Miss Wallace was a guest at Zara’s 2011 wedding to rugby star Mike Tindall. She is said to be a longstanding friend of Mr Phillips, who was three years above her at Gordonstoun. Weather
