Out in public for the first time, Gruffudd and girlfriend who ‘ruined his wife’s life’
THE collapse of his marriage – and his wife’s furious response – has been described as Hollywood’s most vicious and bitter bust-up.
So it was little wonder actor Ioan Gruffudd kept a low profile behind a Covid mask and sunglasses as he was pictured out with his new girlfriend for the first time.
The 48-year-old was seen arm-in-arm with Bianca Wallace, 29, almost a year after estranged wife Alice Evans confirmed their 14-year marriage was over.
Hornblower star Gruffudd and his partner called into a convenience store in Los Angeles where he was seen purchasing a lottery ticket.
Miss Evans, who has daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, with the Welsh star, confirmed their separation in a string of furious tweets posted in January.
She has documented every turn in their divorce proceedings across social media. She has said Miss Wallace ‘ruined her life’,
‘Making me smile again’
branded her the ‘stealer of my husband’ and claimed she ‘makes my kid cry’.
Gruffudd filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. In October, he posted a picture online of himself and Australian actress Miss Wallace on a film set looking blissfully happy.
‘Thank you for making me smile again,’ he wrote in the caption, along with two love hearts.
Divorce papers reveal he separated from his wife on New Year’s Day, but Miss Evans claims her husband was embroiled in a three-year affair – which has been denied by a friend of the new couple.
Gruffudd and Miss Evans, 53, first met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 and got married in 2007.
