Start preparing to play Santa!

-

FINGERS crossed, there’s still a fair chance we can be together with loved ones this Christmas, unless more new restrictions emerge.

So don’t let barriers in your home be the obstacle that stops you from making magic moments this festive season.

Sometimes it’s small changes, such as the installation of a Stiltz homelift, that solve big problems — and before you know it, you’ll be surprising a loved one with breakfast in bed on a tray, without having to negotiate the stairs.

You could even re-live your Santa Claus days and quietly sneak those presents into the stockings at the end of the beds. You can join in and be part of the team — your team.

And of course, a Stiltz isn’t just for Christmas, it’s for your future lifestyle.

Similarly, a stairlift can be a real life-changer, but the biggest challenge can be accepting that we need one.

There’s a rollercoaster of emotions — yet they can be put to bed with a simple ride on a customisable stairlift. What’s important is realising that there are two arguments going on in our heads.

Firstly, we don’t want to give up our sense of independence. Secondly, we don’t want to move from the home we know and love. It might be possible but it is an inconvenient and unwelcome change.

Adapting the home to make getting around easier is the way forward — and upward.

Stannah is at the top of the tree when it comes to making and fitting stairlifts, having installed more than 700,000 of them.

A stairlift makes staying at home a realistic and affordable option.
