William dismisses awkward question about his uncle
THE Duke of Cambridge could not escape his ongoing family drama as he joined his wife for their first public engagement of the year yesterday.
William, 39, was with Kate, 40, at the Foundling Museum in London when he was asked by a journalist: ‘Your Royal Highness, could I just ask, do you support Prince Andrew?’
The royal, who was wearing a face mask, paused, leaned in and pointed to his ear, saying politely: ‘Sorry, I can’t hear you.’
The Sky News journalist repeated the question but William dismissed it with a good-natured: ‘Not today.’ He then put his arm behind his wife’s back and they moved on.

The duchess wore a chic pair of mini hammered doorknocker hoop earrings which are now sold out, but went down to £2.10 in the store’s sale.

William and Kate were visiting the Foundling Museum to listen to the stories of those who have experienced life in care but have managed to turn their lives around.
The museum tells the story of the original hospital, which was established in 1739 as a home for children whose mothers could not keep or care for them. Kate, who has taken a keen interest in the issue of how early childhood experiences can affect them as adults, spoke to charity bosses who discussed homelessness, mental health impact and helping young people in care who fail or slip through the cracks.
The couple also joined in an ‘ice-breaker’ activity with women who had previously been in care by drawing with three-foot long pencils.
