Picky Posh told top chef ‘to swap wedding menu for veg and mints’
SHE’S not the most adventurous soul when it comes to the world of fine dining.
And it seems not even a Michelin-starred chef could convince Victoria Beckham to give up her no-frills eating regime.
Dani Garcia has revealed some of the former Spice Girl’s demands at a celebrity wedding he was catering for.

requested ‘some odd things’ after she ‘changed the whole menu’ for herself.
The Beckhams were attending the wedding of David’s exReal Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos and his TV presenter wife Pilar Rubio.
‘It was very strange,’ Mr Garcia said. ‘Victoria Beckham changed the whole menu.
‘ It was very sad because when you make such an effort, not just me and my team but the bride and groom and everyone else to create a unique menu.
‘Hers was totally different and just based around vegetables.’ The Marbella-born chef, pictured below, was speaking on Spanish television on Monday. He claimed it was ‘complicated’ catering for Mrs Beckham at the ceremony near Seville in June 2019. He added: ‘There were some odd things that I’ve never seen in my life. She had coconut water, all the time, a bowl of mints.’ Last year Mrs Beckham, 48, said she was ‘boring in the food department’ and wholegrain toast with salt was her comfort food.
‘ To most restaurants I’m probably their worst nightmare,’ she told River Cafe’s Table 4 podcast. ‘I love some steamed vegetables, some balsamic vinegar.’
She also revealed the different eating habits of the Beckhams last year on Instagram, comparing son Romeo’s pizza lunch to her two salmon fillets and sliced avocado.
David, 47, said earlier this year that his wife had eaten ‘the same thing for the last 25 years’, adding: ‘Since I met her she only eats grilled fish [and] steamed vegetables.’
