BLUES MAY SEND PULISIC TO JUVE IN DE LIGT DEAL

■ CHELSEA have resumed talks with Juventus over a potential swap deal involving Christian Pulisic plus cash for Matthijs de Ligt. Juve would prioritise a deal for the USA captain ahead of Chelsea striker Timo Werner, who has also been discussed. Holland defender De Ligt, 22, is key to Thomas Tuchel’s plans as he hopes to team him with compatriot Nathan Ake from Manchester City. Chelsea have also spoken about City full back Oleksandr Zinchenko with City keen to sign Marc Cucurella from Brighton. Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar and Sevilla defender Jules Kounde remain options for Chelsea and they have also been offered the chance to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

CRYSTAL PALACE are increasing­ly confident of signing Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure from RC Lens in an £18million deal. A Palace delegation was in France last night discussing further add-ons that would push the price towards £22m plus a sell-on clause. Doucoure, 22, has been Palace’s top target this summer.

TOTTENHAM are continuing talks over a deal for Everton’s £60m-rated forward Richarliso­n. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy met with good friend and Everton counterpar­t Bill Kenwright for dinner at Scott’s in London on Monday. Various Tottenham players have been mentioned as potential makeweight­s, though winger Steven Bergwijn, who was considered by Everton earlier in the window, has expressed a preference to join Ajax or another Champions League side. Proposals involving Harry Winks have also been dismissed. NEWCASTLE UNITED have confirmed the signing of Lille defender Sven Botman (left) on a five-year contract. LIVERPOOL have confirmed the sale of midfielder Takumi Minamino to Monaco in a deal worth up to £15m. MANCHESTER CITY forward Gabriel Jesus completed his medical with Arsenal yesterday ahead of agreeing a £45m move. City goalkeeper Zack Steffen is poised to join Middlesbro­ugh, allowing Stefan Ortega to join City from Arminia Bielefeld.

BURNLEY have signed Oxford United centre back Luke McNally for £2m on a four-year deal. Burnley are also close to completing the signings of Manchester City defenders

CJ Egan-Riley and Taylor Harwood-Bellis. WOLVES remain keen on Burnley defender Nathan Collins but talks are yet to advance.

FULHAM have held talks over an £8m move for Wolfsburg right back Kevin Mbabu as they consider cheaper options to Liverpool’s Neco Williams.
