TEN HAG REVOLUTION BEGINS AS UNITED WELCOME MALACIA

■ MANCHESTER UNITED have confirmed Tyrell Malacia as the first signing of the Erik ten Hag era and have agreed to sell Andreas Pereira to Fulham. Left back Malacia (below), 22, joins from Feyenoord for £14.6million on a four-year contract with the option for a further year. He said: ‘I can promise the United fans I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt.’ Pereira, 26, has been on loan at Flamengo but will join Fulham for an initial £8m with a further £2m in add-ons plus a 20 per cent sell-on clause. He is in Belgium ahead of returning to London, where he will sign a three-year deal.

■ FULHAM have also agreed to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon, 22, on loan. Charlton have signed Fulham full back Steven Sessegnon for the season.

■ CHELSEA left back Ian Maatsen has rejected the chance to replace Tyrell Malacia at Feyenoord. Blues owner Todd Boehly will discuss Armando Broja’s future as Everton, West Ham and Newcastle wait for an answer in their battle for the striker.

■ AJAX have offered £28m for TOTTENHAM winger Steven Bergwijn after talks between Daniel Levy and Edwin van der Sar. They are still looking to finalise details pending further discussion­s, despite the Dutch club’s hopes of a resolution.

■ LEICESTER CITY have opened talks over a move for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, 21, as Boubakary Soumare discusses a loan to Monaco. Dutch-born Turkey internatio­nal Kokcu is open to the switch but Leicester must offload players first, with Dennis Praet also discussing a move to Fiorentina.

■ NOTTINGHAM FOREST are in talks with Bayern Munich over a £9m deal for left back Omar Richards. The 24-year-old former Reading defender has other options, including Lyon. Forest are close to confirming another Bundesliga defender, with Moussa Niakhate agreeing to join from Mainz for £13m after his medical. French club Lens have confirmed the signing of keeper Brice Samba from Forest.

■ CRYSTAL PALACE are in talks to sign Flynn Downes for around £8m from Swansea City. The 23year-old was absent as Swansea faced Colchester in a behind-closed-doors friendly yesterday afternoon.

■ RANGERS are demanding SOUTHAMPTO­N meet Joe Aribo’s £10m release clause. Romeo Lavia has passed his medical ahead of joining Southampto­n from Manchester City for £14m with a buy-back clause set at around £40m.

■ BURNLEY striker Wout Weghorst has joined Besiktas on loan and the Clarets have moved to make Standard Liege midfielder Samuel Bastien, 25, their fifth summer signing.

■ HUDDERSFIE­LD TOWN are finalising terms for free agent Connor Mahoney after the 25-year-old winger’s contract expired at Millwall.

■ DERBY are signing former Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane on a two-year deal. Former Sheffield United striker David McGoldrick and former Stoke defender James Chester are also close to agreeing terms.

■ WOLVES defender Dion Sanderson has joined Birmingham City on a season-long loan.
