BOEHLY JETS TO BARCA TO TALK PLAYER TRADES

■ CHELSEA owner Todd Boehly flew to Barcelona yesterday to discuss potential deals. Barcelona want Chelsea full backs Cesar Azpilicueta (below) and Marcos Alonso and are prepared to offer players as part of negotiations rather than pay more than a nominal fee. Sergino Dest and Memphis Depay are thought to be among the names offered. Chelsea have been linked with Frenkie de Jong but he would prefer to team up with

Erik ten Hag again at Manchester United. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, believe they have a commitment from Matthijs de Ligt to join them ahead of Chelsea this summer. They are yet to agree a fee with Juventus. ÷ NOTTINGHAM FOREST are finalising the £9million transfer of Bayern Munich left back Omar Richards and have agreed a £17m fee with Liverpool for right back Neco Williams. Forest have been rebuffed in an approach for Burnley’s Maxwel Cornet but are interested in Southampton striker Che Adams.

■ BOYHOOD West Ham fan Flynn Downes completed his £9m move to the club from Swansea yesterday. The midfielder’s fee will rise to £12m with add-ons. ÷ FULHAM have made two offers for West Ham defender Issa Diop as they try to convince David Moyes to sell. Their initial offer of £10m plus add-ons was rejected and a new bid of £12million plus £8m in add-ons has been submitted. Fulham are continuing talks over a fee for Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno.

■ RANGERS’ Joe Aribo will have a medical ahead of his move to Southampton for £6m plus add-ons and a sell-on fee.
