RAPHINHA WAITS ON £56m MOVE TO BARCELONA

■ LEEDS UNITED winger Raphinha is waiting to hear that he can be registered as a Barcelona player before his £56million transfer is confirmed. The Spanish side have prepared a five-year deal for the Brazilian (right) and agreed to give Ousmane Dembele a new contract until 2024 worth up to £8.4m a year after tax. However, they need clearance from La Liga first.

■ WEST HAM remain in the hunt for Chelsea striker Armando Broja despite asking about Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca. Sassuolo want £43m for the 23-year-old and have rejected an offer from Paris Saint-Germain. Broja is keen on joining West Ham but also has interest from Everton and Newcastle.

■ EVERTON retain an interest in Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who is also a target for Crystal Palace, Southampto­n and Nottingham Forest.

■ CHELSEA are signing Chicago Fire goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina, 18, for £8m plus add-ons. He will return to Chicago on loan.

■ WAYNE ROONEY has been confirmed as head coach of MLS side DC United.

■ LIVERPOOL are continuing talks over the sale of defender Ben Davies to Blackburn.

■ BRENTFORD are signing Ukraine Under 19 midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk from Dnipro-1, after a month of talks to obtain his visa. Keane Lewis-Potter has completed his £16m move to the Bees from Hull.

■ WOLVES have signed £20.5m defender Nathan Collins from BURNLEY, who have confirmed the signing of midfielder Josh Cullen from Anderlecht.

■ NOTTINGHAM FOREST are still in talks over a £10m deal for Huddersfie­ld midfielder Lewis O’Brien. ÷ BOURNEMOUT­H are looking at FC Midtjyllan­d keeper Jonas Lossl, 31, in training.

■ EVERTON defender Jarrad Branthwait­e is closing in on a loan move to PSV Eindhoven. ÷ WEST BROM have held talks with their former loanee Okay Yokuslu, who is a free agent.
