Proof business is picking up for Posh — she pops out in a £227,000 Ferrari!
After years of losses, her fashion brand is finally turning a profit.
And it appears Victoria Beckham is now thinking of treating herself – as she was pictured taking a £227,000 ferrari for a test drive on tuesday.
the designer, 49, was seen cruising around the streets of London in a ‘Blu Pozzi’-coloured ferrari roma, which has a top speed of 199 miles per hour.
She looked suitably glamorous in a grey herringbone trouser suit with a maroon jumper and oversized sunglasses.
It came after the former Spice Girl revealed her company Victoria Beckham UK had turned a profit in its latest figures.
the mother of four has had to borrow £30million from other parts of the Beckham business empire over the past 15 years, and auditors warned it could go bust without further support.
Since its launch in 2008, the business accumulated losses of £66.3million. But Mrs Beckham was said to be ‘thrilled’ after the latest financial accounts for 2022 showed it was £200,000 in the black. the results marked the ‘turning point where the group became profitable’, and revenue rose 44 per cent to £58.8million.
And the company said sales continued to surge in 2023 due to high demand for her popular lines of beauty products and fragrances. Mrs Beckham told french Vogue last month: ‘this year, we made a profit. this takes time, especially for an independent brand. Now that I have laid down the groundwork for the [fashion] house, the real work can begin.
‘this is just the beginning. I have lots of ambitions, and I work hard to achieve my goals. I never wait for things to just fall into my lap. It’s such an exciting time.’
It’s the second time in recent months that she’s made headlines thanks to expensive cars. A clip from Netflix’s Beckham documentary went viral after it showed David poking fun of his wife’s claims to be ‘working class’. After a grilling, she was forced to admit she was driven to school in a rolls-royce.
