LYON’S BIG PUSH FOR MANGALA AND BENRAHMA
■ LYON are pushing to agree a £30m deal for NOTTINGHAM FOREST midfielder Orel Mangala. The French side are also in advanced talks to sign Said Benrahma from WEST HAM for £15m plus add-ons. West Ham still want cover as talks over an 18-month loan for Al Ittihad winger Jota hit a hitch over tax issues. Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman could come back into play and has interest from other Premier League sides. Meanwhile, Forest defender Scott McKenna has joined FC Copenhagen on loan.
■ CRYSTAL PALACE plan to clinch the £22m signing of midfielder Adam Wharton from BLACKBURN today pending the 19-year-old’s medical. Palace have confirmed the signing of Daniel Munoz from Genk while defender Kofi Balmer is to join AFC Wimbledon.
