THE WINDOW CLOSES AT 11pm TONIGHT

■ FULHAM are making a late attempt to negotiate a deal with CHELSEA for striker Armando Broja ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline — but the move still hinges on the player’s £50million valuation. Talks over a move for the centre forward (right) are under way but a move is in the balance over Chelsea’s determination to recoup a huge sum. Wolves were rebuffed in an attempt to take Broja, 22, on loan earlier this week. Fulham have made a similar request but were looking to pay closer to £35m should the deal become permanent in the summer. Mail Sport revealed Fulham held talks over Broja in December but Chelsea are holding firm on their valuation, citing the £64m Manchester United paid for Rasmus Hojlund in the summer as a benchmark. Talks are ongoing as Fulham try to negotiate a lower fee heading into the final hours of the transfer window. Fulham are looking to offset their spend with the sale of striker Carlos Vinicius who has interest abroad from Augsburg, Real Betis, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and Valencia.
