Is Sir Richard Branson right about cannabis?
I AGREE with Sir Richard Branson about cannabis regulation. Most low-level crime is committed by people who are after drug money. This makes life a misery for communities and wastes much police time. The only people who benefit are crooks and suppliers.

I would like to hear Sir Richard Branson’s views on the situation in the once-beautiful city of Portland, oregon, which tried to ‘get hip’ and become the next San Francisco. oregon has declared a 90-day state of emergency as part of an effort to tackle the effects of allowing all drug use on the streets of Portland, which led to a rise in homeless camps and crime. The ‘sensible’ drug policy of decriminalisation and regulation over prohibition failed miserably.

I DOUBT Sir Richard Branson, in his luxury houses, has to tolerate the stink of cannabis permeating his home, as we had to living in a first-floor flat. Our neighbours below were almost constantly using the drug, creating a stench in our flat, including the bedroom in which my grandson sleeps when he stays overnight. I called the police multiple times and eventually, after emailing their complaints department, they arrived and warned the offenders — who continued until the police’s third visit. So, Sir Richard, please explain how legalisation would work for us.

SIR RICHARD BRANSON should be forced to leave his sun-kissed caribbean island and live on a social housing estate for a month. he might change his ill-informed mind about cannabis then.
