Hostility towards Jews is still rife

-

ANTI-SEMITISM stains the globe. Britain may be one of the least anti-Semitic nations in the world, but there are still millions of Jew-haters who reside here. Tragically, anti-Semitism today is prevalent among people on both the political Far Right and the wider Left (the Centre Left, Centre, Centre Right and mainstream Right tend to be significantly less anti-Semitic). Far-Right fascist thugs have realised they have much in common with far-Left agitators such as George Galloway. We must be alert to anti-Semitism because, as the Mail’s editorial notes, it always lurks in the background.

SEBASTIAN MONBLAT,

Surbiton, Surrey.

I WAS brought up in a Christian family, but my parents always had great respect for the Jews. Because of their entrepreneurial skills, they helped to put the Great in Britain. It seems these days people have forgotten that. We now live in Feral Britain. May the Lord help us.

SYLVIA SONTAG, Spalding, lincs.

I AM not Jewish but the ghastly attacks on Jewish people by supporters of Palestine, both verbal and physical, fill me with despair. The Met say they won’t tolerate such attacks. Well, you could have fooled me.

FREDERICK CROWLEY, Bishops nympton, devon.

IN EAST London, Palestinian flags are flying on the lampposts and protesters are everywhere, keeping the police very busy. What are our parliamentarians doing about it? It is time they put a stop to the troubles here.

R. PATEL, Ilford, essex.

CAN the fact that there has been an ‘explosion in hatred against Jews’ (Mail) and an explosion in the number of Muslim refugees be coincidental? Several European countries have grave concerns about extremism among their Islamic populations, which, as in Britain, refuse to fully integrate.

Mrs F. RAFTERY, atherton, lancs.
