STRAIGHT TO THE POINT

-

I HAVE a Vodafone Sim card in my mobile phone and top it up when I need to. But every time I ask for data to be added the call centre staff set it up as a recurring payment. Please help.

I.M., via email.

VODAFONE apologises for any inconvenience and has now resolved the issue.

I ORDERED two sofas from Furniture Village and asked for scatter cushions, but they are too big. I have tried to ring the branch and goods department to no avail.

P.C., Staines.

FURNITURE Village says the cushions are a standard size. It offered to make a custom set but you asked for a refund. It has contacted you to arrange for the cushions to be collected and will then process the £180 refund. MY mother signed up to Spotify in 2020 but when she got new devices, she set up two new accounts rather than using her existing one. The triple payments cost £209.79 and Spotify has agreed to pay back £59.94. I know it’s my mum’s fault but I think it should pay back the remaining amount.

A.L., Belgium.

SPOTIFY apologises for any inconvenience caused and has offered you a refund for every month your mother had duplicated accounts. I CHANGED liquid petroleum gas supplier as my previous provider, Calor Gas, began to charge £16.56 rent on the outside tank at my mobile home. I notified them I was leaving but they came when I was out and topped up my tank. They have since sent me a bill for £167.78 for the gas.

T.M., Warwick. Calor Gas apologises for your experience and the time it took to resolve your enquiry. It has now cancelled the tank rental charges, credited your account for the mistaken delivery and has closed your account.
