Set sail to the midnight sun
Board The Svalbard Express, a 16-day journey that takes you from Bergen to spectacular Svalbard
SINCE 1893, Hurtigruten ships have been sailing Norway’s rugged coastline, dipping into fjords, visiting islands and passing by snow-capped peaks, connecting remote coastal communities along the way.
And now, travellers looking for the ultimate adventure can board The Svalbard Express, a reimagined route first sailed by Hurtigruten in 1968. Venturing along the Norwegian coast during the summer, this epic journey begins in Bergen making its way to the last town before the North Pole, high in the Arctic.
As you travel to the far north, you’ll experience the magic of the midnight sun and deepen your understanding of Norway’s coast, culture and people.
Stopping for an average of six hours in each port, you’ll have plenty of time to explore on Hurtigruten’s exclusive excursions, while back on board you’ll enjoy exceptional all-inclusive food and drink, an elegantly refurbished ship, personalised service and enriching onboard activities and talks.
