Can’t the Princess be left to recover?

-

NEVER have I heard such utter rubbish as that spouted about the beautiful photograph of Princess Catherine and her children. I imagine this debacle stems from frustration at no one being able to find out exactly what her operation was for. This is a tactic to bully her into revealing the details, which is disgusting.

The Waleses stated at the outset that no running commentary would be given and that the Princess would be out of action until after Easter. Why on earth not simply accept that and allow the poor girl to recover in peace, without these ridiculous conspiracy theories. Find something else to bore us with, commentators. We wish Kate well and look forward to seeing her when she is fully recovered.

PATRICIA TINGLE, Kettering, Northants.

WE NEED to leave the Royal Family alone, given all they are already coping with. Surely Kate’s recovery and peace of mind are infinitely more important than a photograph, whatever the circumstances surrounding its publication. I believe this publicity is doing real damage to a King doing his best and a Princess who has been very ill. We don’t have a right to know everything. As someone who worked for nearly 40 years to support families with difficulties, I can honestly see a collapse of this beleaguered, now fragile family under the perpetual onslaught of manufactured disapproval.

SO WHAT if Kate did a poor job with the photo, according to so-called experts. I am sure most of the public would agree it is a nice picture.

Some people just want to complain about anything.
