SETH ROGEN, 42. The Canadian actor and comedian, who started doing stand-up at 13, starred in Steve Jobs, knocked Up and The Fabelmans. Rogen enjoys making pottery and sharing his work online. SAM WALEY-COHEN, 42, in 2022, became the first amateur jockey to win the grand National in 32 years — before announcing his retirement a few minutes later. He runs a £300 million dentistry business he founded.

DODI FAYED (1955-1997). The son of Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed died in the Paris car crash that killed his lover Princess Diana. Vanity Fair magazine described him as ‘a 42-year-old man/child with a lavish monthly allowance’. At 15, his father reportedly gave him his own Park Lane apartment, a bodyguard and a chauffeured Rolls-Royce.
BENJAMIN ZEPHANIAH (1958-2023). The dyslexic poet and novelist from Birmingham left school aged 13 unable to read or write. He went on to become professor of poetry and creative writing at Brunel University.
