Dough! Lady Mary drops giant birthday croissant

-

ONCE described as London’s ‘ posh wild child’, Lady Mary Charteris is still creating havoc at parties — albeit inadvertently.

The Earl of Wemyss’s daughter wanted to mark her 37th birthday by lighting two number candles on a cake in the shape of a giant croissant — her favourite snack.

Unfortunately for the model and DJ, the cake, which she was holding with one hand, slipped from the plate onto the floor, as seen in a video which she shared online.

Lady Mary, who has a twoyearold daughter, Wilde, with her musician husband Robbie Furze, wails: ‘Birthday cake reality.’

CAROLINE STANBURY — whose husband, ex-footballer Sergio Carrallo, is almost 20 years her junior — claims men are increasingly lusting after older women. ‘young men see this knowledgeable, powerful woman — they don’t look at the wobbly bits,’ says the socialite, 47. Stanbury, who has three children with her first husband, Cem Habib, adds: ‘that is more important than a G-string and a girl flaunting her body on the beach, who wants a birkin for her birthday or a watch.’

JOINING far- Right activist Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox at the St George’s Day rally in Whitehall — scene of skirmishes with police — were socialite Amanda Eliasch and aristocratic film producer Lord Antony Rufus Isaacs.

‘English people are treated like second- class citizens because of political correctness,’ claims photographer Amanda, 63.

Lord Antony, 80, insists: ‘Nobody there was far-Right. It’s just a nice thing to go out and celebrate your country.’
