Is it fair on constituents for MPs to defect?
IF SOME Tory MPs are prepared to defect to the Labour Party, what does that tell you about how far the Conservative Party has drifted disastrously to the Left? We want a Conservative government, not a limp liberal party with woke policies. Get your act together.

The MPs who switch allegiance from the Conservative Party to labour act as if it is the right thing to do. But did they ask the constituents who voted for them? as a Conservative voter, i would be quite annoyed if someone i had helped to win an election went to sit with a party whose represented beliefs i find unacceptable.

AN MP should be made to resign if they wish to change their party allegiance. Many people vote for the party first and the person second. An MP should not be allowed to just cross the floor of the chamber. Natalie Elphicke has treated Dover voters with contempt.

AFTER defections from the Tories to starmer’s labour Party, perhaps it is now time for some defections of labour Remainers to the liberal Democrats.
Plenty of people now realise we should have stayed within the eu, yet neither labour nor the Tories are interested.

THE Tories stand accused of breaking manifesto promises, which have resulted in two defections to Labour. Four standout promises spring to mind: we promise there will be no once-in-a-century global pandemic; we promise no major war will be waged in Europe; we promise there will be no freak cost-of-living crisis caused by this war; and we promise the best leader this party has had in 30 years will not be forced from office for not eating his own birthday cake.
