FA FURY AT FAN BEHAVIOUR
ENGLAND fans were branded ‘disrespectful’ by FA chairman Greg Clarke after outrageous chanting in Germany. FA chiefs are promising to review footage of the supporters and pledged to issue banning orders against those found guilty of singing about World War II and booing the German national anthem. He said: “The behaviour of a section of the England support in Dortmund was inappropriate, disrespectful and disappointing.” The taunts from fans came on the day when London was hit by a terror attack and could be heard by the live eight million TV audience on ITV. Clarke added: “Individuals who engage in such behaviour do not represent the overwhelming majority of England fans nor the values and identity we should aspire to.”
