Man killed in tragedy at building site
A MAN has been killed while working on a building site. Conor Morgan was working on the site in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, on Wednesday when tragedy struck. Paramedics treated the 45-year-old from Kilcoo, Co Down, but he died at the scene. He was employed by Newry firm Re-gen Waste but was working at the Avant Homes construction site. Canon Sean Rogan of St Malachy’s Parish said the local community is heartbroken. He added: “Conor was a very hard-working member of the parish. He leaves a wife and three teenage boys.”
