Farmer killed by gas blast

A FARMER died when a huge gas explosion tore through a workshop. Emergency teams raced to the scene after reports of a loud blast. A worker at a nearby car valeting business said: “The poor guy had a gas explosion in his workshop and unfortunately he died. He was a nice chap.” Fire investigators said the cause was accidental and the Health and Safety Executive is now probing Friday’s blast in the village of Warboys, Cambs.
