WARRENPOINT Town’s final game in the Championship before promotion saw a comprehensive 4-1 victory at Loughgall. Mark Mccullough gave The Villagers an early lead but John Mcguigan – playing his last game for the Point before a summer move back to Glentoran – levelled things before the break with his 19th goal of the campaign. Curtis Dempster added two more and forward Ruairi Croskery also found the net to ensure a 22nd league win of the season for the champions. Exiting the division at the other end, Annagh United secured their fourth win of the season as they came from behind to defeat Larne 3-1. Forward James Mccabe gave Larne – who were being managed by David Mcalinden for the final time - the lead shortly after the hour mark but Craig Taylor levelled for Premier Intermediate-bound Annagh a minute later. Chris Rodgers then put through his own net to give the hosts the lead before 18-year-old Nathaniel Ferris sealed the points for the Portadown-based side late on. A Stephen Curry double helped fire Institute to a 4-2 win at Ballyclare in the first of three matches between the sides in the space of seven days. Curry netted from the spot on the half hour and doubled the lead before the break while Kyle Frielcurran and Gareth Brown strikes late on secured the win, despite the hosts hitting back through Denver Teggart and Chris Trussell. PSNI finished their first season back in the Championship in fourth place – goals from Lukasz Adamczyk, Ryan Berry (inset), James Wright and Jonathan Courtney securing a comfortable 4-1 win over Dergview, who’s goal came courtesy of Ryan Campbell. Armagh go into their relegation playoff against Newry City on the back of a 2-1 home loss to Knockbreda, who finish 8th. Conor Mullen gave the Eagles the lead at Holm Park before a double from Bobby Burns earned Knockbreda the victory.
