BOYZONE star Keith Duffy revealed yesterday the band are getting back together for their first new album in more than four years. The 42-year-old will be heading into the studio with Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch in November to mark the band’s 25th anniversary. Keith said the lads will be meeting on May 15 at Warner Music in London to discuss their new release – which should be in the shops in time for Christmas – and tour. He added: “We’ve just signed a big global deal, we’re doing a 25-year anniversary album in November.” Keith is currently touring with former Westlife star Brian Mcfadden as Boyzlife and told how he was forced to cancel gigs in Limerick and Cork this week due to laryngitis. He added: “I had to get a doctor two nights in a row in Brighton, I couldn’t sing. “I had to work the audience while Brian sang my parts. Myself and Brian are flat out, our schedule is full right until the end of the year.” Speaking about the birth of Ronan’s first child with Australian wife Storm last week, Keith claimed he knew before everyone else. He said: “As soon as he sent me the picture I just deleted it straight away. “I’m going to be blamed for putting a pic of Cooper Archer up on social media. “The Boyzone lads have 10 kids between the four of us so we’ll have a creche on tour when the gang gets back together.” Keith and Brian joined forces last year to form Boyzlife and since then have been going from strength to strength. The former Coronation actor added: “It’s mad craic with Brian, he’s unpredictable, high energy, you never know what he’s going to do next. “I was kind of like the Brian in Boyzone and they calmed me down, Brian and me together should be a disaster but it’s going great. “We work because we calm each other down, both love to play golf and we’ve been invited to all the big golf tournaments. “We always keep four hours off for golf, you don’t want to turn up hungover or drunk cause it’ll ruin the experience. “When we’re on tour we make ourselves go to bed early, not for the work but for the golf – sure we can do the gigs p***ed that’s fine.”
