A TOUCH OF KLASS FROM LEGENDARY DUO

-

K-KLASS will forever be synonymous with some of the biggest chart smashes in the history of dance music but at Cream Classical you can expect something entirely different.

Cream Classical Live promises a show like no other as the staples of Cream’s legendary history is recreated with a 50-piece Philharmonic Orchestra.

“We’ve got such a rich history in Belfast and we’ve always had that connection there, the crowds are amazing, they’re really reactive and just love it, so they’re in for a night to remember,” said Paul.

K-klass have curated the set list and Paul says the orchestra adds so much to the live show.

He adds: “You’re so used to hearing these songs and they sound so much bigger and better than you’ve ever heard them before, and you hear them in a totally different way.

“The reactions we’ve had from the show so far have been so positive, it’s been amazing.”

Despite having performed at some of the biggest musical events in the world, Paul and Russ say this show tops them all.

Paul adds: “We’ve been doing this for more than 20 years and we’ve done Top of the Pops, we’ve had five top-40 hit records of our own, we’ve been to the Grammy’s and all of that, but the experience of doing this just surpasses everything.”

Asked if Belfast can expect any surprise guests, Paul said: “I know Cream are working on some at the moment so there’s nothing confirmed yet but obviously we’ve got Bobbi Depasois, who’s the original vocalist from K-klass, who will be doing some of our bits and taking care of the lead vocals on a few of the other tracks as well.”

Paul said the set list for the Belsonic gig has been tailored to suit all dance music tastes.

He adds: “It’s classics but from a really big range, we’ve tried to put something for every type of genre of dance music in there so there’s something for everyone.

“Some of the newest tracks that are in the set are probably only a handful of years old, there’s recent stuff as well, what we call recent classics, tracks that have stood the test of time already and are going to remain timeless.”
