Ulster duel will intrigue

-

SOME will cringe at the prospect of another collision between Tyrone and Donegal. But I’m intrigued to see how the tactical duel unfolds. Two years ago Rory Gallagher took over Donegal in a no-win situation but now he has a brilliant new crop of players. Add to that Michael Murphy’s leadership though there’s a question mark over his fitness after an op. It will be up to others to step up now but there’s a great attitude in the side. Tyrone though are swaying it for me, their defensive juggernaut is something many of the Donegal players won’t have experienced before. I said they wouldn’t win an All-ireland because their forwards aren’t good enough but there was evidence against Derry to suggest a change in mindset. This might be the day Tyrone convert their opportunities.
