BIRMINGHAM are waiting to hear from John Terry over a bid to make him their best-paid player ever. The former England captain is a free agent after leaving Chelsea and has been holding out for £100,000-a-week amid interest from Bournemouth and West Brom. But it is understood Harry Redknapp’s City have offered the 36-year-old centre-back close to six figures a week to step down into the Championship. A source said: “The offer is very genuine and decent. He has other offers and it’s up to him now. We’re all waiting to find out.”
