Friends star ‘would even carry donor egg’

FORMER Friends star Courteney Cox has admitted she would love to have a baby with her rocker fiance Johnny Mcdaid. The 53-year-old said she would love to have a child with the Derry Snow Patrol musician, even if it meant carrying another woman’s egg to conceive. She added: “I may be one of the older people doing it, but I would love to, with Johnny that is. I know it’s crazy but I would.” Courteney, who has a 13-year-old daughter Coco with her ex-husband David Arquette, also revealed she suffered miscarriages in the past due to a hereditary defect. She said: “About four years ago I found out I have something called a MTHFR gene mutation, which dictates how my body methylates. “I suffered miscarriages, my dad died of a really rare cancer and depression runs in my family, which made my doctor think I should get this gene checked out. “I discovered I have the worst version of the mutation and my body doesn’t methylate the way it’s supposed to. “Once I found out how I could absorb nutrients and protect myself from toxins, my whole life shifted.” Courteney also told how she used to worry the age difference between her and Johnny would be a problem but she insisted it has never been an issue for the 40-yearold. The couple called off their engagement in December 2015 before rekindling their romance last year. Courteney added: “Well, he’s younger than me and with any other guy that would be the hardest thing in the world but looks are not that important to him or his family. “External beauty isn’t even on his radar. “I used to worry about the age difference but I don’t think it matters. “He appreciates beauty but it’s deeper than that. It’s deeper for me too but luckily I find him gorgeous and extremely sexy.” In an interview with Newbeauty magazine, she also told how she has given up cosmetic surgery and has had all her fillers dissolved. Courteney said: “I think I now look more like the person that I was [before surgery]. I hope I do.” She also told how her foray into facial injections got out of hand. Courteney said: “You have no idea because it’s gradual until you go, ‘Oh, s***, this doesn’t look right’.”
