He gets maths degree after going to university from primary school Paralysed student Rob is first class
MATHS whizz Yasha Asley has graduated with a first-class honours degree aged just 15.
At eight he was the youngest person ever to achieve an A-level A grade in the subject and was fast tracked to university straight from primary school.
Now he plans to return to Leicester University after the holidays to study for a doctorate.
Yasha, who at 13 was paid to teach adults, said: “I love absolutely everything about mathematics. I finished my degree when children of my age are still doing GCSES.” Talking of his graduation he said: “I was nervous and excited. It was a mixture of emotions but mostly happy.

In 1985, Brighton-born Ruth Lawrence, 13, became the youngest person to get a first-class degree when she graduated in maths after two years at Oxford. Now a mum-of-four and wed to an Israeli mathematician, she teaches at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
